Always Encourage has been a dream since 2022.
Always Encourage provides immediate essential living supplies to adults and youth experiencing homelessness through our Hope Bags Initiative, restoring dignity during times of crisis.
Through our Princess Initiative — named in honor of our beloved 20-year-old family dog — we extend that support to the pets of unhoused individuals, recognizing the powerful role companion animals play in emotional stability, protection, and connection.
Housing instability impacts individuals across the lifespan. By addressing urgent survival needs for both people and their pets, Always Encourage reduces immediate hardship while promoting compassion, dignity, and human connection at the point of crisis.
We believe restoring dignity is the first step toward stability.
The Princess Initiative is a permanent program of Always Encourage dedicated to supporting the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness.
For many, companion animals provide emotional support, protection, and a sense of family. Yet access to pet supplies is often limited or nonexistent.
Through this initiative, we provide:

• Collapsible bowls
• Leashes
• Waste bags
• Basic grooming and care supplies
By caring for pets, we care for the whole person.
